29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: On or about September 18, 2014: a) Employees in the maintenance area were exposed to fire hazards as the employer failed to ensure that an annual maintenance check was performed on all fire extinguishers. b) Employees in the propane tank storage area were exposed to fire hazards as the employer failed to ensure that an annual maintenance check was performed on all fire extinguishers. The Southern Perfection Fabrication Holdings, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315739748, citation number 1, item number 9c and was affirmed as a final order on 05/16/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 232 Hwy 49 South, Byron, GA 31008.
