29 CFR 1910.106(d)(4)(i): Inside storage rooms were not constructed to meet the required test specifications set forth in Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials, NFPA 251-1969. Openings to other rooms or buildings were not provided with noncombustible liquid-tight raised sills or ramps at least 4 inches in height: Drums of the flammable solvent n-Propanol were stored near the press line. A fire rated wall and door was not installed to separate the area from the production department and no sills or ramps to contain spills were installed. In the Alternative: 29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii)(b)(2): More than 120 gallons of Category 2, 3, or 4 flammable liquids in containers were located outside of inside storage room(s) or storage cabinet(s) or in any one fire area: At least 800 gallons of the Category 3 flammable solvent, n-Propanol, was stored in drums near the press line.
