29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a- 6509 Harvest Avenue, Harvey Cedars NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 9 feet to the ground surface below, when performing framing and other related activities. This company employee had not received fall protection training from the company. Condition noted on or about 10/27/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Condition noted on or about 10/27/14. Mad Dawg Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 191296, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/12/12, with respect to a workplace located at Allenhurst Avenue, Ocean NJ 07712.
