29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: On or about October 29, 2014, the employer failed to provide medical evaluations for employees who are required to wear respirators in the workplace. This exposes employees to the stress that wearing a tight-fitting respirator imposes on the cardiovascular system and/or respiratory system without the employer first determining whether the employee has a serious medical condition that would prohibit its use.
