29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): The employer did not ensure that all name-plates and markings were in place and maintained in a legible condition: a) Production Area - On October 29, 2014, Handi-Foil Corp. failed to ensure that the Crown sit down forklift truck (#23) had a nameplate that was entirely legible and had weight capacity markings in place. In accordance with 29CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
