29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Protection was not provided by placing and keeping excavated or other materials or equipment at least 2 feet (.61m) from the edge of excavations, or by the use of retaining devices that were sufficient to prevent materials or equipment from falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: A.) Moran Masonry Inc.; Cathedral Prep Events Center - On or about 10/27/14 and at times prior thereto, Employees were in an excavation conducting work activities that included, but were not limited to, constructing a masonry wall. The spoil pile was at the edge of the excavation while employees were in the excavation performing work activities. The spoil pile was greater than 10-feet in height.
