29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color:    On or about December 17, 2014,  the employer failed to ensure that the exit signs were illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles by a reliable light source. Failure to ensure that exit signs were illuminated and visible, could lead to a delay in exiting the building in the event of an emergency.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:    On or about December 17, 2014, the employer failed to develop a written hazard communication program for employees working with,but not limited to, Quickc SSPR 6Pk Flat Black spray paint containing, but not limited to,  Ethylbenzene, Acetone and xylene which may cause central nervous system disorder (e.g., narcosis involving a loss of coordination, weakness, fatigue, mental confusion, and blurred  vision) and/or damage.

Employees working at Midtown Pallet & Recycling, Inc.,were exposed to hazards chemicals, such as but not limited Quickc SSPR 6Pk Flat Black spray paint containing, but not limited to, Ethylbenzene, Acetone and xylene which may cause central nervous system disorder.
