29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which is six feet or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, warning line system or personal fall arrest system: a) 2551 Route 130 South, Cranbury, NJ 08512. The employee was working at the edge, outside the controlled access zone of a flat roof installing new plastic roofing membrane with no fall protection systems in place when the employee fell in excess of 13 feet to the ground below. Incident occurred on or about 12/29/14. Sanchez Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 976730, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 11/28/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 882 Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341.
