29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  a) Arista Information Systems, Inc. - Duluth, GA - In the production area, employees were exposed to chemicals such as, but are not limited to, Xerox film remover (contains isopropyl alcohol) , Xerox red dye ink, Xerox green dye ink, rubber resorter, and toner which contains polyester resins, styrene, and carbon black.  The employer had not developed a written hazard communication program, on or about December 18, 2014.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use:  a) Arista Information Systems, Inc. - Duluth, GA - In the production area, employees were exposed to chemicals such as, but are not limited to, Xerox film remover (contains isopropyl alcohol) , Xerox red dye ink, Xerox green dye ink, rubber resorter, and toner which contains polyester resins, styrene, and carbon black.  The employer did not have Safety Data Sheets (SDS), on or about December 18, 2014.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii): The employer did not provide information to the employees as to the location and availability of the written hazard communication program, and material safety data sheets required by 29 CFR 1910.1200:  a) Arista Information Systems, Inc. - Duluth, GA - In the production area, employees were exposed to chemicals such as, but are not limited to, Xerox film remover (contains isopropyl alcohol) , Xerox red dye ink, Xerox green dye ink, rubber resorter, and toner which contains polyester resins, styrene, and carbon black.  The employer did not conduct information and training, on or about October 1, 2014.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
