29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not comply a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet.  (a) On or about 1/7/15 Crounse Corporation employees, working at 9104 Old Lock & Dam Road in Maysville, KY, were exposed to hazardous materials (eye, skin, respiratory irritants) and the employer did not compile a complete list to include all hazardous chemicals used.    Crounse Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 301511218, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 12/16/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 9104 Old Lock and Dam Road, Maysville, KY    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical.   a) On or about 1/7/15 Crounse Corporation employees, working at 9104 Old Lock & Dam Road in Maysville, KY, were exposed to hazardous materials (eye, skin, respiratory irritants) and did not have access to Safety Data Sheets (SDS's) for all hazardous materials used.   Missing MSDSs included but were not limited to Rapid Tip Cutting Fluid; Bernz-O-Matic Map Pro gas (16oz); Bernz-O-Matic Propane (16oz); Notch Mantek Special Chemical Cutting Fluid  Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to allergic reactions, skin, and respiratory irritations. 29 CFR 1915.507(b)(1): The portable fire extinguishers and hose systems were not selected, installed, inspected, maintained, and tested by the employer according to NFPA 10-2002 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers.   a) On or about 1/7/15 Crounse Corporation, located at 9104 Old Lock & Dam Road in Maysville, KY, did not inspect and document the monthly inspection of the portable fire extinguisher in Work Barge.  This exposed employees to potential fire hazards.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
