29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: On or about 02/04/2015, in the production area where material handlers changed out propane tanks that power the fork trucks, the employer did not correctly asses the process of tank change out; in that, gloves that could protect the employee's hands from frost bites were necessary in an event of propane release.
