OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and crushed-under hazards:    Shop 1 Sidewall Department: on or about February 6, 2015, Nippon Sharyo Manufacturing, LLC did not ensure that all below-the-hook lifting devices (i.e. railcar sidewall lifting brackets) were constructed and load tested to prevent failure resulting in the likelihood of dropping heavy loads that can strike employees.     Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
