29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: (a) Line 3 - Employees were exposed to falls of 8'2" to the plant floor while standing on the McGuire Blender platform located on an elevated work area which was lacking 11" of guardrail protection on the main walk way side of the platform, observed on or about 2-25-15. (b) Line 6 - Employees were exposed to falls of 4'3" to the plant floor while standing on the blender platform located on an elevated work area which was lacking 20" of guardrail protection on the main walk way side of the platform, observed on or about 2-25-15.
