29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Ink storage room - On or about February 25, 2015, employees walked/worked in proximity to a Ecopure solvent recycler without a barrier to prevent exposure to heated solvent expelled from the machine. b) Ink storage room - On or about February 25, 2015, employees performed tasks both on the Ecopure solvent recycler and within the flammable storage room without Fire Resistant (FR)/anti-static clothing to provide protection from potential flash fires within the room classified by the employer as a Class 1, Division 1, hazardous classified area.
