29 CFR 1926.251(b)(6)(i): In addition to the inspection required by other paragraphs of this section, a thorough periodic inspection of alloy steel chain slings in use was not made on a regular basis: a) Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer: On or about 03/26/2015, the employer did not perform a thorough periodic inspection on alloy steel chain slings serial numbers V4029 and V3370 used to lift Gang-Forms for concrete walls, thus exposing employees to possible injuries. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
