29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At the jobsite, on the porte-cochere, on or about 3/31/15: An employee was working on a surface with an unprotected side, at 14 feet from ground (by plan) and without fall protection of any kind. C & D LaFace Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315850826 citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 8/12/13, with respect to a workplace located at 309 Eddy Street, Ithaca, NY. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
