29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of job-sites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them): (a) MCC, Ltd. at 10025 E. Girard Ave., Denver, CO 80231: On and before March 30, 2015 the controlling employer did not ensure that employees of multiple subcontractors were protected from injury, in that those employees were exposed to falls of approximately 16-21 feet without the use of an adequate fall protection system while performing residential construction work.
