29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) West side of building, fourth floor, on or about 4-16-15: Two employees were unloading gypsum sheets from a boom truck while standing in a wall opening, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 34 feet. KAMCO SUPPLY CORP OF NEW ENGLAND WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OR A SIMILAR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, 1926.501(b)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 785961, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, ISSUED ON 3-1-13, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 353 MAIN AVENUE, NORWALK, CT, 06851.
