OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees replacing chlorine cylinders in an area not monitored for chlorine leaks. a) Water wells area: On or about April 14, 2015 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards in that employees were changing chlorine cylinders in the water well shed that is not equipped with chlorine detectors to warn the employees in case of a release.
