OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to caught-in hazards by use of the powered conveyor system: a) Conveyor - 3 at 20621 Savannah Road, Georgetown, DE 19947; on or about December27, 2024, employees attempting to process poultry products from one belt to another were exposed to caught-in hazards when their employer provided clothing became entangled in the conveyor system and unable to stop it due to the lack of an emergency stop pull cord was installed along the conveyor system.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Conveyor - 3 at 20621 Savannah Road, Georgetown, DE 19947; on or about December27, 2024, an employee processing poultry products was exposed to the shaft of the conveyor belt when their lab coat went into the pully (idle end shaft) and pulled the employee into the equipment causing injuries to the employee.
