29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.    a) On or about the week of April 1, 2015, in the machine shop area located at 7376 Whipple Ave., NW North Canton, Ohio 44720, the employer did not provide blade guards for the unused portion of the blade on COCON C-300NC Horizontal Bandsaw exposing employees to the moving saw blade during cutting operations.    The A. Stucki Company Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985365, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 9, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 201 Power St., New Castle, PA 16102.    b) On or about the week of April 1, in the machine shop area located at 7376 Whipple Ave., NW North Canton, Ohio 44720, employees were exposed to the unguarded chip auger on COCON C-300NC Horizontal Bandsaw while operating the saw during cutting operations.    c) On or about April 21, in the machine shop area located at 7376 Whipple Ave., NW North Canton, Ohio 44720, the employer permitted employees to operate the PM04 Daewoo PUMA 10HC CNC Lathe without functioning interlocks  during the production cycle.
