29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(3)(ii)(B): Before work under this standard was performed, the employer did not inform employees who will perform such work and employers of employees who work and/or will be working in adjacent areas of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material and/or presumed asbestos containing material present in the area and the precautions to be taken to insure that airborne asbestos was confined to the area: 1) On or about April 14, 2015, and at prior times, maintenance employees cut through drywall during water leak repairs. The employer had not informed the employees of the location and quantity of asbestos containing material, nor of the precautions to be taken.

29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(v): The employer did not provide training for Class III employees that was consistent with EPA requirements for training of local education agency maintenance and custodial staff as set forth at 40 CFR 763.92(a)(2). Such a course shall also include "hands-on" training and shall take at least 16 hours: 1) On or about April 14, 2015, and at prior times, maintenance employees cut through drywall during water leak repairs. The employer had not provided the required training to the employees.
