29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Frame #8, Framing Department, 1 Penn Dye Street, Pine Grove, PA - Employees were operating the de-beamer with unguarded pinch points and rotating parts at both ends of the de-beamer (chuck end, hydraulic end), exposing employees to caught-in and caught-between hazards, observed on or about April 29, 2015. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.
