29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:    a) At the job site, on May 14, 2015, the employer did not ensure the side rails of two ladders used to access the upper level of the commercial framing work extended at least 3 feet above the access point of the upper level, which measured ten feet from the ground level, exposing employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a) At the site, on May 14, 2015, the employer did not ensure the use of fall protection for employees who were performing commercial framing work at the top of a structure that measured ten feet in height, exposing employees to fall hazards.      GM & B Construction Group, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954264, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 35 Rivermoore Court, Pooler, Georgia 31322.
