29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) At the site, located at 559 Suncrest BLVD, on January 14, 2016, the employer did not ensure two employees, who were preforming framing work from the top plate of the second story of a private residence that measured ten feet and one inch from the second story floor, were protected from fall hazards through the use of fall protection such as, but not limited to a personal fall arrest system, exposing employees to the hazards associated with broken bones, sprains, concussions, and lacerations.  b). At the site, located at 559 Suncrest BLVD, on January 14, 2016, the employer did not ensure two employees who were performing framing work from the second floor balcony on a residential structure, that measured nine feet and one inch from the ground level, were protected from fall hazards through the use of fall protection, such as, but not limited to a personal fall arrest system, exposing employees to the hazards associated with broken bones, sprains, concussions, and lacerations.  The GM & B Construction Group, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954264, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on March 15, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 35 Rivermoore CT, Pooler, Georgia 31322.
