Employees performing residential construction activities were exposed to falls on the interior and exterior of the building being constructed. The workers were exposed to falls of over 13 feet to ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: The employer is failing to provide employees with adequate and effective fall protection training prior to allowing them to work on the second story deck of a residential style site. This training would allow each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and allow them to understand the proper procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.
