At the jobsite located at 6318 W 67th Street in Merriam, KS; employees engaged in residential roofing activities on a 6 in 12 pitch roof were not using fall protection. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 19 feet from the roof eave to ground.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: At the jobsite located at 6318 W 67th Street in Merriam, KS; employees engaged in residential roofing activities on a 6 /12 pitch roof were not trained in the recognition of fall hazards and the use of personal fall protection equipment. Employees were working at heights greater than 6 feet without fall protection.
