29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: On or about August 3, 2015, a dosimeter (sn: ESN070249) was placed on an employee working in the Mentor grinding area for a total of 442 minutes. The employee was exposed to noise at 187.7% of the permissible daily noise exposure level, with an equivalent time-weighted average sound level of 94.5 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 38 minutes not sampled. On or about August 3, 2015, a dosimeter (sn: ESN070250) was placed on an employee working in the Mentor grinding area for a total of 441 minutes. The employee was exposed to noise at 204.1% of the permissible daily noise exposure level, with an equivalent time-weighted average sound level of 95.1 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 39 minutes not sampled.
