29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Back of building - Access Ramp: Employees were using an unguarded walkway to access the worksite being exposed to a fall of approximately 10 feet, on or about 7/11/2015. Waterside Construction, L.L.C. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954103, citation number 01, item number 07 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/26/14, with respect to a workplace located at 693 Andersen Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ. Waterside Construction, L.L.C. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 899965, citation number 01, item number 05 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/28/14, with respect to a workplace located at River Rd. & Vreeland Terrace, Edgewater NJ.
