(b) Can line; Nitrogen gas box, on or about July 14, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees working near the nitrogen gas box were exposed to the opening and closing of automatic doors exposing employees to an unguarded amputation hazard. 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) Can line, on or about July 14, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees shutting down and servicing the equipment, prior to changing from milk to non-milk products, did not utilize control procedures to control potentially hazardous energy. Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item. The Idaho Pacific Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(C), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 29326, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 4723 East 100 North, Ririe, Idaho 83443.
