29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be conducted by a competent person designated by the employer was not provided by the employer who was responsible to initiate and maintain an accident prevention program: a) Mary Lane, Springside at Robbinsville, Robbinsville, NJ: On or about July 16, 2015, the employer, High Quality Builders, Inc., had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. As such employees were conducting framing activities without proper use of fall protection. Additionally, ladders used to access the structure were not properly set up, framers without hard hats working under hoisted trusses were exposed to overhead struck-by hazards and workers using nail guns without safety glasses were exposed to potential eye injury. High Quality Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1058961, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/06/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Dickman Dr. & Pershing Blvd Lavallette, NJ.
