29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Automotive bay; on or about 14 July 2015 and times prior thereto; an Encon emergency eye wash station, model 01104050, located adjacent to the doorway was not maintained in accordance with the manufacturers requirements. Eyewash station inspection record indicates that it was last inspected in January of 2013. Eyewash solution was below the fill mark for a 5-minute flow and had foreign material in the solution. Corrosive materials are being handled in this area. This condition exposed employees to eye trauma hazards.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage. District area, on or about 14 July 2015 and times prior; the employer did not ensure that electrical panels were readily accessible in the event of an electrical emergency. Five instances were noted: a. Wood shop; lumber was stored in front of the panel impeding immediate access. b. Radio shop storage area; boxes containing various items were stored in front of the panel. c. Boat house; lumber was stored in front of the panel. d. building 402 B; a table was position in front of the panel. e. Building 402C; boxes and a spray container were stored in front of the panel. This condition exposed employees to delays in de-energizing electrical equipment exposing employees to electrical shock and electrical burn hazards.
