29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    On or about August 3, 2015, the employer failed to provide effective guarding for the space which is between the Hall 3HSG Permanent Tilt Mold Machine and the elevated working platform located in the CD4 Floor Molding Area.  When the tilt mold is in the "back" position, there is a space between the mold (measuring 37 inches wide) and the working platform (height of the platform is 9 inches from the ground).
