29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. Worksite: The employer did not ensure that employees who were working above 15 feet above the ground while installing metal roofing onto a building under construction were protected from falling by the use of guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems or fall restraint systems. Twin Fork Enterprises, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 956366, citation number 1, item number 4a, issued on 2/20/2014 with respect to a workplace located at 227 Federal Rd., Brookfield, CT and became a final order on 2/27/2014.
