29 CFR 1910.132(f)(3)(iii): The employer did not retrain employees when inadequacies in the affected employee's use of PPE indicated the employee had not retained the requisite understanding. a) The Penray Companies, Inc. did not retrain employees in PPE use when there were inadequacies in the employees understanding of the PPE use. On September 23, 2015, an employee was sprayed in the eyes with toluene when disconnecting a hose. Appropriate PPE including face shield or chemical splash goggles were not used.
