At the residential construction site, employees performing roofing activities were using pneumatic nail guns and were not provided with eye protection exposing the employees to eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  At the residential construction site, employees performing roofing activities on a newly constructed residential home were not provided fall protection and exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 13 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):  Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.  At the residential construction site, employees were using an aluminum extension ladder with side rails that did not extend at least 3 feet above the edge of the roof.  The employees were exposed to a fall hazard.
