29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Waste Conveyor System: On, or about, October 22, 2015, the waste collection conveyor that was started from control stations that were not in the line of sight of all areas of the conveyor system was not provided with a pre-start up alarm with a time delay to alert employees that the conveyor system was about to start in order to provide them with an opportunity to clear away from any hazardous area.
