29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by pinch points: Line 1, Nailer: On, or about, April 16, 2025, the design of the microswitch circuit provided on the catwalk access gate allowed the nail hopper to restart automatically when the gate latch was closed. The operator was not required to activate an operating control to restart the machine after the microswitch activated a stop control in the circuit.
