29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  Employee(s) were exposed to falls of more than 20 feet while securing & sheathing the roof truss frames atop a residential property being built at 21 Simpson Avenue in Edison NJ 08817.  No method of fall protection was in use.  Condition(s) noted on or about 10/26/2015.  A & B Builders Crop was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1082952, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on October 14, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 58 Liverpool Way, Block 404.28 - Lot 6 in Medford NJ.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) A portable aluminum extension ladder was used by an employee for access to / from the canopy ledge above a 1st floor window at the front of new single-family home being framed & sheathed at 21 Simpson Ave in Edison NJ 08817.  The side rails were not extended at least 3 feet above the landing to afford easy grasping point while getting on / off he top of the ladder; thus exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 14' ft height.  Condition(s) were noted on or about 10/26/2015,  A & B Builders Crop was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1082952, citation number 1, item number 6A and was affirmed as a final order on October 14, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 58 Liverpool Way, Block 404.28 - Lot 6 in Medford NJ.
