29 CFR 1926.351(e): Arc welding or cutting operation(s) were not shielded by noncombustible or flame proof screens to protect employees and other persons working in the vicinity from the direct rays of the arc: (a)On November 18, 2015 the worksite located at 3211 Gardner Ave, Kansas City, MO. While completing contract work at the recycling facility, the employee was welding on a newly installed sorting machine on a platform approximately 4 feet off of the ground. The employee was welding without the use of a welding screen to protect other persons in the area.
