29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: On 12/03/2015 at a Worthington Industries facility located at 300 Breed St., Chilton, WI 53014, the employer Industrial Refractory Consultants Inc. did not provide fall protection to employees when they were on top of an oven approximately 85 inches (7 feet) above the ground. Employees were exposed to falls when working on top of the oven or when using the top of the oven to access the inside of the oven. Note: Toeboards are only required when persons can pass, there is moving equipment or there is equipment with which falling materials could create a hazard.
