29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. The program was not updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use. a. Industrial Refractory Consultants, Inc. work site located in Bucyrus, Ohio: On or about April 28, 2016, the employer did not ensure the company's written respirator program included the following information: 1. Fit testing procedures for tight fitting respirators; 2. Procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, storing, inspecting, repairing, discarding, and maintaining the respirators; 3. Procedures for regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the respirator program.
