29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section:    a.   Employees installing framing and sheathing at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system:    The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on December 10, 2015 in the following instances:        1.  On or about December 10, 2015, on the 8:12 pitch roof, an employee installing roof sheathing was exposed to a 21 feet fall hazard in that he was not protected by a fall protection system.        2.  On or about December 10, 2015, on the second floor of the house, employees installing framing were exposed to 12 feet fall hazards from unprotected edges of the second floor in that there were no guard rail installed around the openings to the foyer, family room, and dining rooms, and there were no other fall protection systems in use.    AJ New Construction and Repair, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1007334, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on January 26, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 3805 Valverde Circle Jacksonville Florida.
