29 CFR 1915.158(a)(2): Prior to each use, personal flotation devices were not inspected for dry rot, chemical damage, or other defects which may affect their strength and buoyancy.   2256 Wharf St. - On or about 12/18/2015, employees were exposed to drowning hazards when the employees life vest were defective because of cracks, being worn down, and missing chunks of foam from them.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
