29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) Sprinkler Room, West Exit Door - A portable fire extinguisher was located on the floor below a wall mounted fire extinguisher bracket. The extinguisher fitting was not compatible with the wall mounted bracket. b) Sprinkler Room, South Wall - A portable fire extinguisher was located on the floor. c) Small Fabrication Bay, South Entrance - A portable fire extinguisher was located on the floor below a Fire Extinguisher sign. A mounting bracket was not provided at that designated fire extinguisher location. d) Small Fabrication Bay, Column on East Wall - The fire extinguisher sign was not conspicuously located. e) Painting Area, West Wall, Structural Column - A fire extinguisher identification sign was not posted at the fire extinguisher station, and access to the extinguisher was obstructed by material. f) Large Bay, East Wall Exit Door - A fire extinguisher identification sign was not posted at the fire extinguisher station. g) Storage Area Outside the Maintenance Shop, North Exit Door - A fire extinguisher identification sign was not posted at the fire extinguisher station.
