29 CFR 1915.152(a): The employer did not provide or ensure each affected employee with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective barriers, personal fall protection equipment, and life saving equipment, meeting the applicable provisions of Subpart I, wherever employees were exposed to work activity hazards that required the use of PPE. a) Worksite: Employees operating Taylor forklifts at the marina moving boats to and from storage and the dock; as well as other equipment and materials around the facility, were discouraged from using the seat belts installed on the forklifts. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
