29 CFR 1926.1431(a): The employer did not prohibit the use of equipment to hoist employees: (a) 897 Tolman Street Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 - An employee rode the hook of an articulating/knuckle-boom truck crane from the rear of the site to the front several times, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard, on or about January 8, 2016. No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee were engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) 897 Tolman Street Mechanicsburg, PA - Employees were walking the top plate and the joist board of a residential construction without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing employee(s) to a fall between 11 feet 6 inches and 14 feet 6 inches, on or about January 11, 2016. No abatement certification or documentation required. J.Z. Shirk Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 579480, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on March 15, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2251 Porter Way Lancaster, PA .
