29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. Employees performing roofing operations on steep-pitched roofs at elevations are not being protected from a 10-foot 7-inch fall hazard by use of a fall protection system.   The DWC Contracting, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1004680, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7827 SW 79th Drive, Gainesville, Florida 32608. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a. Employees are using a 16-foot Werner extension ladder to access a roof improperly, in that the ladders are not being extended 3 feet over the eave nor was secured from slippage.   The DWC Contracting, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1004680, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7827 SW 79th Drive, Gainesville, Florida 32608.
