29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section:  a.     Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system.  DWC Contracting, LLC. fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on June 6, 2019, at a job site at 3132 SW Terrace, Lot 251, Gainesville, Florida, when 3 roofing employees working on the  6:12 pitch slopes of the roof were exposed to 9-feet to 18 feet fall hazards from the roof eaves in that they were not protected by a fall protection system.  DWC Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1240181, Repeat citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 13657 Nw 10th Place, Newberry, Florida.  DWC Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1117452, Repeat citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 17, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at SW 36 Drivelot 196, Gainesville, Florida.
