29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:       a) On or about  2/01/16, on the canopy roof over the front entrance of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Hotel under construction at 643 Rainbow Boulevard , Niagara Falls, NY:  An employee was exposed to a potential fall of  approx. 18 ft. to the ground while putting up the mesh for stone at the edge of the roof. No fall protection system was utilized to protect the employee.      NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
